“aira” Offers Pneumatic Actuator Operated Butterfly/Wafer Damper — a versatile solution primarily used as a stack damper where tight shut-off isn’t critical. Perfect for flue-gas scrubbers, it’s lightweight, quickly actuated, and cost-effective. With a simple 90° operation, it adapts well to oval duct shapes and may also be seen as a double-disc butterfly, resembling a two-bladed louver damper. Torque requirements may vary with time due to corrosion and thermal effects.
